Description
Miso is a Japanese fermented superfood paste made from soybeans, sea salt and koji. It has many health benefits containing essential healthy bacteria and with its high dietary fibre it can improve the digestive system.
With our Miso Making Workshop you can learn how to make artisanal miso step-by-step from scratch, as well as traditional Japanese miso recipes. You will have the opportunity to make your own miso, taking 1 kilo of miso home for it to rest and ferment for 9 months. Feast on your creations with a glass of sake at the end of this hands-on workshop.

- Miso Yaki-Onigiri
- Miso Kenchinjiru (vegetable miso soup)

About the Instructor:
Kinu Yukawa, Japanese chef and cookery teacher, was raised in the cosmopolitan city of Kobe, Japan. She fostered the basics of cooking at a young age from her Grandmother who was a chef and food enthusiast. Kinu later trained and mastered Japanese cuisine in both Kyoto and Tokyo.
